Keanu Reeves Has Been Secretly Funding Project And Truth Uncovered Is Melting Internet’s Heart

Keanu Reeves is one of Hollywood’s nice guys. He’s well-known in the industry for his incredible acts of kindness – from sharing $100 million with the set and special effects crew members to giving up his seat on the subway – he’s always in the news for doing something outrageously generous.

But the last drip of information released about this superstar is warming hearts everywhere …

Life was rough for Keanu when he was a child. His father wasn’t present, his mother bounced around to several different husbands and he struggled with severe dyslexia. The combination of life events pushed him to drop out of high school to pursue acting full-time.

Even after achieving enormous success with The Matrix, Keanu’s life was far from perfect. He and his love, Jennifer Syme, became pregnant but their world came crashing down when their daughter was stillborn. Her passing caused an irreconcilable rift between the two – and they eventually split.

Just 18 months after going their separate ways, Jennifer was tragically killed in a car accident. After losing his best friend, daughter and one-time love, Keanu didn’t know where to turn. Fortunately, he had a good head on his shoulders and managed to stay above water and away from temptation.

Through it all, there was a voice nagging at the back of Keanu’s mind to do even more good for others. That’s because his younger sister Kim Reeves was diagnosed with leukemia years before and he knew he had to help. Instead of causing a big scene or drawing attention to himself, Keanu quietly started a cancer foundation in her honor.

He told Ladie’s Home Journal:

“I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children’s hospitals and cancer research. I don’t like to attach my name to it, I just let the foundation do what it does.”

Keanu didn’t want the attention, he just wanted to do as much as he can with the fame and fortune he’s amassed – and that’s the sign of a real hero.
