Summer is on its way which means we’ll all be looking to keep cool treats it house to enjoy when the weather gets hot. So many of us are looking for recipes to make frozen homemade goodies.
But don’t forget about the dog!
They’ll be looking for ways to cool down too and there’s no better way to do that than with a frozen treat to cool us from the inside. There are lots of recipes out there for dogs.
The best part is that they are super easy to make.
All it takes is three simple ingredients, a bowl, a measuring cup, an ice cube tray, and a freezer. They are also much healthier for your dog than treats you’ll find at the store that are filled with junk.
Bananas are also good for dogs too.
They provide your dog with potassium, manganese, vitamin B6, vitamin C, fiber, biotin, and copper. They are low in both sodium and cholesterol. They do have a lot of sugars o they should only be eaten as a treat and not part of their regular diet, according to Paw Culture.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 2 overripe bananas
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Step 1) Mash up your bananas until they are completely mashed up and smooth.
Step2) Then microwave your peanut butter for about 15 seconds so its easier to measure out.
Step 3) Mix your peanut butter in with your mashed bananas
Step 4) Mix in your Greek yogurt and make sure everything is blended well.
Step 5) Pour your mix into an ice cube mold and let it freeze overnight.
Step 6) Serve to your dog and store the rest in an airtight container and put back in the freezer.
